About
Infant-Toddler Room

The Infant-Toddler classroom is for hearing and deaf children aged 0-3 looking for a language-rich environment in which they can learn in collaboration with Deaf teachers and fluent language models to design personalized care and foster a community among parents, teachers, and children aged 0-3.

Reggio Emilia Philosophy

The Preschool fosters a constructivist, play-based classroom inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy of early learning. Using that philosophy, we have developed our own framework based on Creative Curriculum and guided by Emergent Curriculum principles.

Fostering ASL Commitment

All families are expected to show a commitment to the use of American Sign Language in the home. We support your journey with ASL classes for family members and the community.

Parents and caretakers play a crucial role in their child’s language development journey by actively participating in our ASL program. As part of our commitment to supporting families, we encourage parents and caretakers to set individualized goals for their own ASL studies, tailored to their learning preferences and schedules. Whether it’s mastering basic conversational skills or delving deeper into ASL linguistics, our program offers flexible opportunities for family members to enhance their signing proficiency.

What Makes Our Program Unique

We promote bilingualism in ASL and English for all of our students.
